Session Description:
The teaching of formal and informal science in online virtual learning environments is ever growing and is increasing opportunities to bring data rich and interactive experiences to new audiences. These learning platforms and related technologies offer access to copious real-time analytical data on knowledge and behaviors that can enable assessment and research studies to better understand diverse populations of users. We invite presentations from designers, instructors, evaluators, and researchers on experiences, best practices, and lessons learned related to teaching and outreach through digital platforms. We welcome presentations that focus on curriculum and instruction and assessment.
