Session Description:
Geoscience topics are used through the curriculum and often beyond the science classroom. Share interdisciplinary curriculum topics used in K- 12 education and university courses. Expanding the fundamental topics in earth systems allows students to better understand the complexity and challenges required for informed balanced decisions. Examples may include: experiential learning opportunities, use of GIS mapping in the humanities, informal education, ethics and philosophy courses, and STEM classes. This session is open to all educators and can include NGSS standards, International Baccalaureate (IBO) curriculum, tertiary courses, among others.
