Waveform and Tomographic Inversion for Natural and Induced Seismic Events Posters

Session Description:
We encourage abstracts on new developments in waveform and tomographic inversion approaches to determine source parameters from natural, induced, and secondary seismic events, as well as to build models of the Earth from those. We welcome contributions that link global seismology and seismic exploration back to their common theoretical basis of locating and identifying sources of seismic events inside the Earth. These sources can be primary: earthquake events, induced seismicity accompanying oil and gas reservoir activities or fracking; or secondary: resulting from using inadequate velocity models (perturbations).
