Global Synthesis of Land Surface Fluxes Under Natural and Human-Altered Watersheds Using the Budyko Framework Posters

Session Description:
Global hydroclimatic conditions have been significantly altered, over the past century, by anthropogenic influences that arise from global climate change and also from local/regional anthropogenic disturbances. The well-known Budyko framework captures the fundamental dimensions of supply and demand imbalance in quantifying the land-surface response and has evolved across the hydrologic sciences to study runoff sensitivity, climate and environmental change, specific ecohydrological processes as well as model and remote sensing validation. The main goal of this session is to unify a broad audience working on various applications of the Budyko framework that enhance our understanding of the spatial variability in land-surface fluxes and anthropogenic influences on hydroclimatology from the local to global scales. We seek submissions that present advances in approaches, analytical development, and applications across scales.
