Geophysical Quantification of Biogeochemical Processes Posters

Session Description:
Biogeochemical reactions play a key role in shaping the Earth’s shallow subsurface. When jointly used with traditional approaches, geophysical methods play a unique role in improving our understanding of the biogeochemical processes because of their capability to provide spatiotemporal data at large scales. This session invites laboratory, field, and numerical studies investigating biogeochemical processes using geophysical methods. Examples include critical zone processes, biogeochemical dynamics at mineral-fluid interfaces, soil and groundwater remediation, as well as geotechnical applications. We encourage studies that combine geophysics with traditional biogeochemical methods, and joint experiments with modeling.
