Session Description:
NASA and other agencies play an essential role in Education and Communication to inspire, engage and inform. Remarkable science discoveries, knowledge, and research are shared with audiences through a variety of technologies such as web portals, mobile apps, VR/AR applications, citizen science/crowdsourcing applications, and the serving of NASA data as commodities for use by advanced visualization facilities including planetariums. This contributes to improving teaching and learning; increasing scientific literacy of the general public; and enriching science, technology, engineering, art, and math (STEAM) efforts. This session seeks talks and demonstrations that: Describe existing capabilities, technologies, tools and facilities that contribute to Education, Engagement, and Communication; exciting projects and programs in development; and what other awesome technology ideas that will greatly benefit Education, Engagement, Communication, and STEAM.
