Session Description:
A rapidly growing portion of the commercial NewSpace industry is the acquisition of Earth observation data from satellites built and operated by private companies. These emerging space resources offer revolutionary high spatial and temporal resolution data about our environment and Earth’s changing climate, and provide critical insight for natural hazard mitigation and disaster relief efforts. This session will highlight research being done around the world utilizing commercial remote sensing datasets.
