PO.DAAC: Discover and Utilize NASA Physical Oceanographic Data
PO.DAAC: Discover and Utilize NASA Physical Oceanographic Data
Session ID#: 11149
Session Description:
The Physical Oceanography Distributed Active Archive Center (PO.DAAC) is NASA’s data center for physical oceanographic data, which spans ocean surface winds, ocean surface topography, salinity, sea surface temperature, gravity, ocean circulation and more. This town hall will provide a summary on PO.DAAC’s data holdings and demonstrate various tools and services to discover, visualize, subset and obtain those data. These services are designed to span the diversity of our users, such as researchers that need to co-locate satellite data to their in situ measurements, data managers who need to supplement their data holdings, and climate modelers who require long time series.
