CLIVAR—Climate and Ocean: The Next 10 Years of CLIVAR Science as Part of the World Climate Research Programme

Session Description:
The session is targeted to climate and ocean researchers and practitioners at the early-, mid-career and senior levels. It will serve to inform about the new CLIVAR science plan and to provide a platform to hear and discuss your ideas on future science and implementation needs required to meet urgent climate research goals. Introductory presentations by the CLIVAR Science Steering Group will be followed by audience participation and discussion. The outcomes will be incorporated into the planing for the CLIVAR Science plan to be presented at the CLIVAR Open Science Conference in Qingdao, China, September 2016  (see clivar2016.org).
