Sea-Level Rise and the Ice Sheet System Model.
Sea-Level Rise and the Ice Sheet System Model.
Session ID#: 35926
Session Description:
The goal of this town hall meeting is to provide a forum for scientists interesting in using the Ice Sheet System Model (ISSM, issm.jpl.nasa.gov) to carry out modeling in the field of Sea-Level Rise. Update on recent developments regarding ice-flow modeling, GIA and ESA modeling, Sea-Level modeling using the ISSM-SESAW approach, and other types of couplings between Glaciers/Ice Sheets and Sea Level, are welcome. A small clinic will be organized for scientists who wish to learn about ISSM or install it on their machine. Extensive support will be provided after the Town Hall.
