All invited to an OPEN MICROPHONE DISCUSSION
In anticipation of the 10th PODS meeting scheduled for 2018, we invite the Physical Oceanography community to an OPEN-MICROPHONE Town Hall, where we will discuss the field of physical oceanography, its major questions, its future, and the contribution of PODS in facilitating careers and research programs of its attendees. Past participants of PODS will open the Town Hall by sharing their experiences and ideas, and then invite PhD students, recent graduates, and early career Physical Oceanographers to share their views, aspirations and challenges. Program Directors from NSF and other funding agencies will be present to answer questions.
