Metrology and Oceanography: An overview of the NIST reference materials and measurement services benefitting the oceanographic community

This networking and informational session will provide attendees with an overview of the NIST’s reference materials and measurement services which may benefit the oceanographic research community. The speakers will highlight standards in development to assist in oceanographic measurements. Additional tools and common procedures used to calculate measurement uncertainty will be covered. Attendees are encouraged to bring ideas for their own measurement needs.
