Marine Litter Management Education Through Computer Applications and Ocean Observations

The computer technologies are playing a crucial role in marine litter education ,marine pollution and marine waste management programs in Developing Nations. Application of Computer Science is found effective in educating the local population along coastal and estuary regions in developing countries. The Computer programs for education and literacy education for different actors in Marine litter management system such as students, youths, women, fishermen , employees of Local Governments, Marine industry laborers and workers along the marine regions. This needs participation of national as well as international stakeholders. The global policy formulation and implementation plays an important role if application of computer tools for marine education. This poster signifies that integrated Computer tools and ocean observation tools are important for marine litter education and management in developing countries. The poster focuses on role of computer education and computer literacy for marine litter and marine waste management by identifying the marine litter and marine waste regions and its scientific and sustainable disposal. This poster presentation suggest local capacity capacity building through effective computer application for marine litter and marine waste management policy formulation, implementation and management in developing countries.
