Session Description:
The NASA Science Mission Directorate’s (SMD’s) vision for Education is: To share the story, the science, and the adventure of NASA’s scientific explorations of our home planet, the solar system, and the universe beyond, through stimulating and informative activities and experiences created by experts, delivered effectively and efficiently to learners of many backgrounds via proven conduits, thus providing a return on the public’s investment in NASA’s scientific research.

SMD recently selected 27 teams to integrate science experts and content into learning environments. The diversity of competitively-selected projects provides science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education strategies to reach learners of all ages within the learning environment. By fostering collaboration across this new collective, SMD activates an ecosystem that is based in education research, new technologies, and that values sharing ideas, techniques, and results to enhance NASA education, thus enabling the advancement of STEM learning and literacy more effectively and efficiently.
