ED24C:
Promoting Environmental and Conservation Sciences Through Successful Communication Posters

Session ID#: 28423

Session Description:
Scientists are increasingly reaching beyond their scientific circles to see their work used by their target audiences. In the realm of ecological and conservation research in particular, critical scientific information can only lead to implementation if scientists reach out to other stakeholders. We want to hear about situations when scientists have worked with community members, non-profits, governments, or any group outside of their research circles to promote environmental engagement and conservation successes. The more we learn about the kinds of engagement and communication actions others have taken, the more we expand the range of successful science communication/engagement techniques available to us to promote collaborations for the betterment of environmental and conservation science.
