MM34B:
Virus-Host Interactions and Their Biogeochemical Impacts II Posters
Session ID#: 28467
Session Description:
Microbial communities drive Earth's biogeochemical cycles, and increasingly viruses are recognized as central players in these communities. Viruses are known to be abundant across diverse ecosystems and to play key roles in population dynamics, gene exchange, and nutrient cycling. This session focuses on advances in our understanding of virus-host interactions and their biogeochemical impacts. We aim to highlight a variety of approaches, spanning both model systems and studies of complex natural communities, as well as theory and modeling.
