MM14A:
Causes and Consequences of Microbial Population and Community Dynamics IV Posters

Session ID#: 28401

Session Description:
A range of new techniques in oceanography have allowed unprecedented insight into the ecological drivers of microbial populations and community dynamics across a wide range of spatial and temporal scales. These approaches are revealing the linkages between genotypes, gene expression, communities, and environmental drivers. In this session, we encourage submissions focused on how microbes interact with their environment as well as predictions of how microbial physiology and community composition interact with biogeochemical cycles. We hope to bring together a wide range of researchers interested in microbial diversity and ocean functioning.
